Photovoltaics is my home turf, my reach is generalist. Over more than two decades I have planned, built, operated and optimised plants — with portfolio responsibility across Germany, Italy and Spain and, at peak, a total volume of around 2.1 GW, on a par with institutional investors. For my practical guide I additionally analysed more than 255 MWp of plant capacity in detail.
I'm not a PV specialist in the narrow sense. Photovoltaics is my technical home, but for years my work has happened at the interfaces: sector coupling of generation and storage, co-location concepts at the grid connection point, operations management of hybrid generation units, bankability questions for institutional investors, and technical due diligence in transactions.
What I offer is a lean, highly specialised unit that combines the operational depth of a plant manager with the strategic breadth of a managing director. You don't get another consultant — but someone who takes full responsibility for a business: build, operate, scale, market.

Entry into PV in 2005 — learned from scratch. Roles at system houses (trading with EPC and general-contractor services) and in power electronics (Mastervolt), incl. as Head of Engineering. Foundation: inverter and system technology.
Co-shareholder and managing director. Built the company with portfolio responsibility in Germany, Italy and Spain — at peak a total volume of around 2.1 GW. Strategic exit from management at the end of 2024.
Planning and consulting office for photovoltaics and storage. Continuously active since founding — first in parallel, the main activity since 2025.
Projects for mid-sized and municipal clients, incl. a battery-storage study for a 1.7-MWp PV plant for a municipal utility.
Contributing to building an asset-management platform for utility-scale photovoltaics in Germany, Italy and Spain.
